The story of Ezia Athletic Club began over 20 years ago when the founder Isaiah Truyman fell in love with Nantucket's charm and began training a select clientele. As his reputation for delivering extraordinary results grew, so did the dream of creating a private club dedicated to health, performance and community. In 2015, that vision became a reality with the opening of Ezia Athletic Club.
in 2020, Ezia acquired a historic building in Nantucket's downtown district, overlooking the harbor. Following a meticulous renovation completed in 2022, the 1854 property now seamlessly blends its timeless architecture with modern design, offering an unmatched private club experience that celebrates both history and innovation.
Now, Ezia is poised for its next chapter of growth with the acquisition of 1 Cherry Street, an adjacent property that has the potential to house a new cutting edge clubhouse. This expansion represents a bold step forward, combining world-class amenities with a thoughtful design to elevate members experience and redefine what it means to belong to a private club on Nantucket.
